The grey-gold diagonal vein character will be consistent, but the specific density, angle, and distribution of veining in your piece will differ from the photographs. The cleanest options: route behind a nightstand or side table where the cord is hidden by the furniture edge; use a self-adhesive cord clip (available at hardware stores) to run it neatly along the baseboard; or use an in-wall cord cover for a completely flush result. For bedside installations, many users simply hide the cord behind the nightstand — at 59″ of length, it reaches most standard outlet positions.
