GU5.3 is the bi-pin base standard for MR16 reflector capsule bulbs — a compact low-voltage bulb widely used in recessed and track lighting. The Mast uses the GU5.3 at 12V DC, which means a 12V LED driver must be installed in the circuit (your electrician handles this). When purchasing bulbs, look for GU5.3 MR16 12V LED — not 240V mains GU5.3, which is a different product. Recommended: 5–8W at 2700–3000K warm white.
