Spanish Alabaster · Hand-Carved Flute · Slim Vertical Sconce
A vertical wall sconce composed of a single hand-carved Spanish alabaster flute suspended from a brass wall plate by a slim cord. The narrow stone column glows from within when lit, revealing the natural veining and translucent character that distinguishes Spanish alabaster from other origins.
Suited to bedside walls, narrow hallways, mirror flanking, and bathroom vanities — a quiet vertical light source that adds material warmth without visual weight.
Features
Genuine Spanish Alabaster
Hand-carved from Aragón-sourced stone — the historically prized origin for translucent natural lighting.
Vertical Flute Form
Slim 38 cm column glows from within — adds vertical accent without visual bulk.
Compact Wall Footprint
Just 15 cm projection — fits narrow hallways and tight wall spaces.
Hardware Finish — Choose at Checkout
Vintage Brass
Warm polished brass backplate and triangular bracket — pairs naturally with the cream tones of the alabaster. Suits traditional and warm-modern interiors.
White
Powder-coated white hardware — recedes against light walls, lets the alabaster flute take complete visual lead. Minimal and contemporary.
Each piece is unique. Because the flute is hand-carved from natural Spanish alabaster, the pattern of veining, color intensity, and grain direction varies between sconces. That singularity is the point of the material — your piece will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.

FAQ
Where does the alabaster come from? +
All Lorolight alabaster is sourced from Spain — specifically the Aragón region, which has supplied the world's most prized translucent alabaster since the 16th century. Each flute is hand-carved from a solid block.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No — every flute is hand-carved from natural stone, so the pattern of veining, color intensity, and grain direction varies between pieces. Yours will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.
What bulb does it take? +
One E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra base bulb up to 25W. We recommend a warm white (3000K) LED for the most flattering glow through the alabaster — higher wattages can over-illuminate and flatten the veining.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — works beautifully in pairs flanking a bed, mirror, or doorway. Just order two units. Because the natural stones vary between pieces, a pair will share the same overall character but won't be perfectly matched — for closer matching, leave a note at checkout.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes — well-suited to bathroom walls, particularly flanking a vanity mirror. Because alabaster is naturally porous, install it away from direct shower spray or steam concentration. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a concern.
